Founder and Director of the Children of the Kingdom gospel choir, Harlano was raised by gospel performing parents (who inspired the name). He quickly progressed in the UK music scene and has earn't recognition as a backing singer for Phil Collins, Craig David, Enrique Iglesias and Lulu. He has also played piano for Mariah Carey, Leona Lewis and currently on the X factor. He has released his own Latin Soul solo album called "WhoIsHarlano??" and is currently the host of the UK Soul Jam at the Jazz Cafe London.

He founded "CK Gospel Choir" in 2007 and was determined to bring 4 part gospel harmony to the masses. Harlano leads by example and brings his unique combination of talent, individual flair, work ethic and fun to the choir.

Graduating from Cambridge, Ed Riches has quickly established himself on the jazz/soul circuit and has played for artists such as Marsha Ambrosius, Yolanda Adams, and Louise Golbey. Ed Riches brings a laid back vibe to the group and is always a willing "chordal experimenting" participant.

Laura has performed at many top UK venues as a solo artist and has performed backing vocals for Josh Groban, The Petshop Boys, Daniel Powter as well as performing as support act for Roy Ayers. She brings a warm, souful sound to the choir and her fashion background also helps style the choir for all public performances.

Cathy has been singing professionally for 6 years and has performed at many top venues and arena's around the UK. Her stunning vocal and strong songwriting has seen her work for some the top producers in pop music. She is currently working with X Wave records, Look out for her debut single, "Blow me away" out soon.

Sarah's amazingly soulful voice has been impressing crowds since she was 16. She has been involved in several gospel projects and has performed at many top venues around the UK. She is currently working on new solo material following the release of her debut single last year, and is an accomplished backing vocalist. Sarah brings a wonderful understanding of harmony to the choir.

Junior started singing at 11 and at 16 started songwriting with the hit rooms (Lemar). Since then he has been songwriting with various producers, touring with "Departure" and even had time to fit in a music technology course. Junior brings a soulful smooth voice to the choir as well as his sense of humour.

A savvy Singer/Songwriter who specializes in Pop, RnB and House. Her achievements to date include: A nationwide tour with CK Gospel Choir, supporting superstar Marsha Ambrosius from the platinum selling group Floetry, in addition to songwriting for various promising up coming artists.

Current projects include: the forth coming ‘Artistry Minus Boundaries’ EP which promises to be a rich medley of songs. Plus the innovative house project with Studio 144: "Let me breathe" which is due for release in 2009.

As Deputy Director and Mezzo, Tremaine has been invaluable to CK.

She has an historic and eclectic background and draws from varied creative experiences; musically her influences are classical, gospel, jazz, soul, even conscious sounds and worship music. Elsewhere, her expressive passions manifests over other art forms too. She has acted, danced, DJ'd, and also had the privilege of going forward to teach others how to follow these same artistic paths.

Tremaine is a master at both displaying a righteous commitment to performance and excellence - whether giving her best in a live performance, in the studio recording, as a pianist, or in her tenacity at drawing the same level of expression and excellence out of those entrusted to learn from her, or by her. Also an accomplished song-writer, Tremaine will be releasing her first solo album in 2011.

Hannah is a drummer, producer and songwriter. She has performed at some the top venues in the UK and her versatility has seen her play musical genres from punk to jazz to gospel. She is studying at the famous Berkeley College in the USA. Hannah brings her sense of calmness to the choir.

Committed and passionate, Adeola is an in-demand session singer and songwriter with a 3-octave vocal range; has worked with Maria Lawson (X Factor finalist) and is also a featured vocalist for "The Bridge" - 7 piece funk band. Her jazz/soul sound brings a warm blend to the CK Gospel Choir.

Hailing from sunny Southern California, Brian has been involved with gospel music all of his life and started playing in churches from the age of 10. He has played with a number of gospel choirs and bands, including Northwest Connection Gospel Choir in Seattle and Yale Gospel Choir in Connecticut, where he toured the whole of the USA.

He brings an authentic gospel sound and enthusiasm to CK Gospel Choir, and is working hard to introduce the gospel tambourine into more of the choirs repertoire.

T.J. has been performing in the gospel scene for the last 3 years. Traditionally a neo-soul singer, he is also an accomplished guitarist and songwriter.

Juliana Lisk is one of the brightest young voices of the Nu-Jazz/Blues music genre, currently not only working as a solo artist but also as part of Nu Blues trio 2 Dreads + An Afro.

Being a multi-faceted performer the live stage is where Juliana truly thrives with her undeniable ability to completely captivate her audience. Whether on stage at The Royal Albert Hall, backing for Josh Groban or busking down at Waterloo Station, her incomparable charisma in her style and character shines through every performance.

A high energy and powerful vocalist, Malika has performed in some of the UK top venue's for nearly a decade. As a soloist or part of a group her unique style and stage presence is both uplifting and contagious!

Lawrence Insula, is a young multi talented bass player who has quickly established himself on the UK scene. His melodic groove based style and versatility has enabled him to seamlessly slip into all genres ranging from Pop to Indie to Gospel and Fusion/Jazz. This has led to him performing at many top venues in UK and Europe and for artists such as Beverley Knight, N'dambi, CK Gospel Choir, Jaz Ellington, Lenny Henry and Raymond Isiah, Nailah and Marsh Garrick to name a few. Lawrence is currently working on his self titled EP with some of London and New Yorks finest musicians and also plans to open up a music academy in the future.

Sheyi has been performing professionally for 3 years and continues to develop her vocal skills. She has performed at many top London venues and was part of a mass choir that performed with Stevie Wonder. A recent graduate, she brings boundless enthusiasm, smooth vocal tones and a vibrant personality to the choir.

As a professional sound engineer, Chris has a proven track record, working on many 'Mega Shows' for world renowned artists in venues such as Wembley Stadium, The Royal Albert Hall and Earls Court.

His talent for LIVE engineering is also backed up by many years of production and album mastering in studio based recording.

In addition to his credentials as an international sound engineer, Chris has also been involved with gospel music for most of his life - which has led to his involvement at many levels in the gospel music scene, from small local church events to international concerts.

When not planning shows and touring, Chris runs Bespoke Audio PRO, which specialises in the design and installation of 'Unique' audio projects for an impressive client base.

Scarlet has a great understanding of both music and performance. Graduating in performing arts, she has gone on to become a singer, actress, songwriter and model. She has perform in hit musical HOPE with Dynelle Rhodes and is currently an acting coach for a new film. Scarlet brings her great work ethic, versatility and lively personality to the choir.
